After my workshop at the Raven Hill Discovery Center in East Jordan Michigan, we stayed over an extra day to do a little plein-aire painting with some artist friends, Kim Diment, Rod Lawrence, and T.J. Lick, all who live in the area. This scene was on Rod’s property of many acres mostly wooded, with his beautiful log cabin home & studio, several back buildings, bordered by a branch of the Manistee River, and abundant in wildlife. A great place to paint and the weather was beautiful too. T.J. Lick and I found a nice location to set up in the middle of a lane under a canopy of shade trees. I was real happy the way my painting turned out and then amazingly the little deer made its appearance later, back in my studio in Nineveh, Indiana.

All prints shipped flat.  Shipping charges are extra.  Prices subject to change without notice.
